Venison America is lucky to have a local Rabbit farmer that produces the best rabbit our customers have ever worked with. Consistent in size and flavor these rabbits are served by restaurants and home cooks alike throughout our customer base. Complements on this product are frequent and repeat orders plentiful.

“Rabbit, it tastes like chicken”, is not a cliché. It does in fact taste like chicken. Not the flavorless type in grocery stores but the free range type that we enjoyed as kids and the type sold by Venison America.

Rabbit meat is light colored with a fine texture and very mild flavor. Rabbit is best pan fried or roasted. It is also delicious grilled as long as it is basted frequently and cooked only to medium.

Rabbit is frequently recommended for medical reasons because it is 98% fat free, low in cholesterol and high in protein.
